"The Why"

26th July 2016

Another fantastic day. No, I don't mean the weather. Weather has nothing to do with how I feel. It shouldn't have anything to do with how you feel. Obviously, we all suffer from odd colds, but I what I mean is how you project yourself in the morning. When you get up, have breakfast and start getting ready for your work day.

What is your attitude towards work, business, anything that is planned to be accomplished today?

There is nothing worse than getting up feeling lousy and unhappy. If you are unhappy, your work will suffer. Your customers will meet a grumpy person, not eager to walk an extra mile  to help solve their problems. Will you get repetitive customers if you are miserable, if your clients can see that you are struggling to crack a smile? And I don't think only about business.

How you present yourself speaks volumes. If you are seen as a beaming, full of smiles business owner, you attract people. People see a person who is content with life, who does their best and is eager to help other people.

To be successful in any business you need to find your reason, your ultimate "why". Your "why" determines your actions. The bigger "the why", the more successful you become, as you stop concentrating on obstacles. Instead you start pushing all your energy towards solutions. You start coming up with various answers to the same problem.

If you don't plan to do much today, at least think about your "why". Then take action.
