Making money in recession

Making money is all about your mindset. It doesn't matter whether it's recession or times of booming economy. Credit cards are used all the time and they have been used for the past 20 years and more. We still need to eat and sleep somewhere. We still need to pay our bills and taxes.

Some people moan that they have no money. The same group of people, if you asked them a few years back, complained of lack of cash. And cash is king, as we all know.

The more you have the more you want. As Robert Kiyosaki rightly observed: once you get promotion, you get a bigger house and  a bigger mortgage. You create bigger liability. So your bills go up and you have to work even more to afford them. It's a vicious circle.

You work and work and it doesn't matter how much you work, money seems to be going out of the window.

Close your eyes for 5 minutes, concentrate and quickly write down at least five ways of saving yourself money.
You can do this by:
  1. Paying the credit cards off quicker.
  2. Using all the food bought, not throwing anything away.
  3. Giving up smoking.
  4. Making sandwiches for work/school instead of buying them.
  5. Giving up label clothes for local brands.
